Great weekend so far. Had lots of customers dropping by our small store. The amazing challenge was fun. and lots took part to make it a great day. Then later on the parade which runs right past our house was a huge success. My son Karl took a lot of pictures and will have them here on the Blog and web site in the coming days. I thought they out did themselves this year and all should be commended on a great performance. Thanks goes out to all that made it possible. Bug report. Nothing to speak of really other than some pesky mosquitoes. To be expected in this part of the country. Black flies are pretty well all gone now, which is OK by me. On another note if your interested in a really nice boat I have one for sale here at my home. It’s a 16 ft Giesler in tip top condition. Asking $4500.00. On July 1st at 1:30 PM at the Heritage Museum in Commanda, the Valley Bells will be showing off a quilt. This isn’t just a normal quilt by no means, it is all hand made approximately seven feet or so across. Loaded with pictures of different homesteads of the original folks that lived here many years ago. Pretty amazing in itself, let me tell ya. I am thinking everyone should take a few minutes and go and see this quilt; as these things hardly ever comes along for us to see. There is also lunches and barbecues through out the whole day, so lots to do and enjoy. Have a great day my friends.

The new IBM cluster system, Sequoia, took number one spot in the world’s fastest 500 supercomputers, a closely-watched measure of international technological prowess.
